These pictures were taken on Herbie Day which was held on the front lawn of The Hospital for Sick Children, last June. 

Citytv broadcast on-location throughout the day in order to draw attention to the Herbie Fund, and to encourage our community to make donations in support of this fund. Thanks to the effort of Gord and Citytv, Herbie Fund was an incredible success raising $260,000 over the last two years. Gord and Citytv have chosen to continue their commitment to the Herbie Fund by once again signing on as our title sponsor for the third annual Citytv Herbie Day

Scotia donated considerable resources for the project and as you can see the staff not only helped us, the charity, but also had a great day in the sun!

The Mistletoe Ball - December 6, 2008 - at the ROM

Mistletoe Ball and Silent Auction
Location: Royal Ontario Museum 
Date: December 6th, 2008

The Mistletoe Ball is Operation Herbie's largest fundraising event. This years glamorous evening will be held within the Michael Lee Chin Crystal building at the Royal Ontario Museum. Enjoy live entertainment, culinary cuisine and celebrate life while truly "Making A World of Difference" for so many children in need.

This event raises over $400,000 annually with all proceeds going to The Herbie Fund at The Hospital for Sick Children. This evening is guaranteed to provide a festive beginning to the holiday season while providing children in need with life-saving and life-altering surgery.
